This session will help young writers by providing the basics and tips that sharpen their creative writing skills, stimulate their creative thinking, and encourage them to think like a professional writer.
It also provides them with the most important exercises and activities that boost their genius brains to create creative ideas, enrich their imagination, and take them towards writing inspiring texts without mistakes.

Specialist in Children’s and Young Adult Literature
Wedad Masalmeh - Specialist in Children’s and Young Adult Literature.
A literary and educational editor for children's books, creative writing coach, and educational and linguistic reviewer for educational curricula, she works at Dar Al Hudhud for publishing and distribution and is based in the United Arab Emirates.
She has worked on many stories and projects for children and young people with several governmental and private organizations, such as: the Ministry of Community Development, Sharjah Child Friendly Office, and the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments.It is worth mentioning that she developed all the activities of the educational program and the Arabic Content Forum for Children and Young People, hosted for the first time as part of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2024.
She offers creative writing workshops for children, and is currently working on a project titled "My Childhood in Arabic" for early childhood, in addition to creating Arabic content that explains the basics of writing in children's literature through social media.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Arabic language and a diploma in educational rehabilitation from Damascus University, and is currently preparing for a master's degree in applied linguistics.
